Professor Rodríguez was awarded a Konex prize in 2006 for his researches in the fields of Theory and Philosophy of Law. He also won the prize for young Researchers of the International Association for Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy (1999). He holds a JD from the Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata (1990) and a PhD from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (1999). He is Professor at the Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata and at the Universidad de Girona. He is a member of the research group in philosophy of law at the Universidad de Girona, and a member of the Asociación Argentina de Filosofía del Derecho and of the Sociedad Argentina de Análisis Filosófico. He is the author of several articles, published in Argentina, Canada, Colombia, Italy and Mexico on issues of general theory of law, philosophy of law, deontic logic, and practical philosophy. He is the author of Lógica de los sistemas jurídicos (2002), and coauthor of the books: Relevancia normative en la justificación de las decisions judiciales (2003) y Estudios sobre la interpretación y dinámica de los sistemas constitucionales (2005).
