Call for submissions to the Filosofía y derecho (Philosophy and Law) Competition for Young Researchers
Young Researchers (35 years old and younger) registered at the Conference are cordially invited to submit unpublished papers on the topic of "Neutrality and Theory of Law" to the Filosofía y derecho (Philosophy and Law) Competition for Young Researchers.
Two prizes, decided by an international committee on the basis of the originality, methodological rigor, clarity and accuracy of the submitted paper, are to be awarded.
Each prize will consist of publication of the winning paper in a volume of the Conference's collected papers (published by Marcial Pons). The winner's travel and accommodation expenses will be reimbursed and the registration fee will also be refunded.
The deadline for submissions is April 1st 2010 and the two selected papers will be announced during the course of the Conference.
Papers submitted to the Competition should observe the following:
- Papers must be sent as an attachment to an email with the subject heading "Filosofía y Derecho Series Competition" to: info@filosofiayderecho.es
- Submitted papers must not include the applicant's name or any other identifying information. The applicant's name, postal address, e-mail address, date of birth and affiliation must be included in a separate file attached to the same message.
- The paper must be written in English and not exceed 45,000 characters with spaces.
- Footnotes must be of the following format: The author's last name in capital letters, the year of the first edition and, when the author has published more than one work in the same year, a letter next to the year, beginning a, b, c... For example:

- References should appear at the end of the paper and be ordered as follows: last name in capital letters, initials of the first name(s), year, paper publications or book chapters in angle brackets, title of the journal or book in italics. If a journal, the format should be: volume and then issue number in parentheses; colon; page numbers. For example:
COLOMER, J., 1998: «The Spanish State of Autonomies: Non-Institutional federalims» West European Politics, 21 (4): 40-52.
PUTNAM, R., 1995: Making democracy work. Civic traditions in modern Italy. Princeton: Princeton University Press.
Note: the year of publication refers to the first appearance of the work; in the case of translations indicate: quote from the English translation, TRANSLATOR, year, book, city: publisher.
