Dr. Juan C. Bayón

Professor Bayón is the author of the following books: La normatividad del Derecho: Deber jurídico y razones para la acción (1991) and, together with Jorge Rodriguez, Relevancia normativa en la justificación de las decisiones judiciales (2003). He is also the author of several articles, published in Spain and abroad, about the rationality of legal rules, economic analysis of law, legal positivism, the defeasibility of rules and legal reasoning, or the relationship between democracy and rights and the justification of constitutionalism. He has also participated in the book Un diálogo con la teoría del derecho de Eugenio Bulygin (2007) published in the Marcial Pons' Philosophy and Law collection.
